A Response to Yee Mai or Mee Yai or Whatever on the Subject ov Christian BM

Submission? I was once a devout Roman Catholic and have defied what you call submission. When I grew up and saw religion in general for what it is, I left it behind deeming it to be just a way for the fearful and weak to explain the unknown. I saw it to be contradictory and depriving and CHOSE to say “FUCK RELIGION”. I CHOOSE not to uphold christian standards just as you undoubtedly choose to masturbate to playboy or on-line porn against your mighty god’s will. I’ve attempted to take a man’s life in sober mind and without regard ov the horrible punishment your god would have me endure or the law’s form ov justice. Your only venturing into the same plane as the comments which you denounce. I’ve read your listed “True metallers…” and your “good advice…” and agreed somewhat with it as I have a similar outlook. But now after reading only half ov this I can only say that you are a sheep mindlessly following his shepherd and wasting what little mind he has. What you say ov christians being the “most rebellious type” is by far the stupidest shit I’ve ever heard. It offends me, as I’m sure it does many, to think that you see yourself as an equal in any way to one who has vowed to uphold nothing but what he so chooses. Metal in general is about having no limits, not about giving in to some imaginary, all-powerful, being that dwells in the heavens where no one can see him. Brainless nutsacks like you are FULL OV SHIT. If you’re so damn rebellious than why are you posting blogs on this matter looking for acceptance. You say music shouldn’t be about ideology and yet in nearly all christian albums ever produced, what is the ideology behind it? I must say, it deeply dissappoints me to see how stupid people can be. Whether you post this comment or not, I hope you read it in its entirety and can truly understand what stupidity your kind has brought upon man. It’s people like you, who, out ov fear, believe aliens conveniently landed on earth and gave us such great technology. People like you who promoted racial/religious superiority and caused countless, if not all, wars. Whether it’s our preserve or not, you don’t see BM musicians going around producing satanic christian metal do you? How do you believe that would sound? Or how about making nazi reggae music? Despite all that’s been said, I respect your argument, however irritating it may be. I know that there will be no altering your opinion so I leave you with this, fuck you and your god.

Black metal taking root in the U.S.

What’s it going to take for black metal to finally bloom in the U.S. as it has in Europe. I have been an active black metal musician for some time now, and it has proven most difficult to find musicians with the same taste in music here in the U.S. (I’ve searched mainly in Texas as that’s where I’m from). People here all seem to be primarily into what I consider the shittier genres like metal core, death metal, progressive metal, and god knows whatever other sub-genres they’re into which have emerged over the years. It’s almost as though no one who’s into metal is willing to think outside the common and dull mindset ov reality. I say this because music is becoming more and more unartistic and unoriginal. The same shit is being played over and over and there are even fuckheads calling the guitar a “percussion instrument” (Metal core). Don’t get me wrong, I do like some death metal and have worked with some musicians ov the genre. But they don’t have the same objectives in music as what I am looking to achieve.

Black metal has finally begun to form some sort ov foundation (here in texas as a matter ov fact) and will hopefully continue to do so. I read a blog on this very website that described black metal as a necessary artistic movement and I have to agree with this. When anything and everything are going one way it must be opposed, and in this case, shittier and shittier music/art/philosophy are finally being met by opposing forces. There is a lack ov structure in most music today, and music is becoming plain and without much thought as is our entire culture here in the U.S. Some good must be happening as when I discuss religion today with most anyone, (not old, usually below thirty) it would seem that the ongoing contradictions ov thus is becoming more and more appearant in everyday life. I feel that black metal is going to soon be a much bigger part ov the entire metal scene in general and is taking a greatly needed foothold in the U.S.

Gorgoroths?

As you may have heard (if you like this band), Gorgoroth has been having quite the dispute recently and no one seems to truly know what the hell’s going on. There are now two Gorgoroth sites, along with Infernus setting up tours and recording sessions on one hand, and King and Ghaal doing much ov the same on the other. In some ways I would like to think that one side will inevitably kill the other and take the band name for good. Yet, I doubt, despite their famed violent history, this will happen and the two sides will continue to quarrel and achieve the unthinkable. That’s right, two Gorgoroth bands touring and recording new albums at once. This would be most beneficial (I say all ov the following in total sarcasm) for the group/groups as twice the amount ov material would be released. The band could literally perform in two different places at once (I imagine it would be a little awkward if they played at the same show). For fuck’s sake! Get this shit over with already!

I personally would love to see Infernus take the name as he is the sole creator and is the soul ov the band’s sound. The band would go to shit if it was taken by Ghaal and King. Their newest album, with the acception ov one track (Godseed), was terrible. The album was made primarily by King and Ghaal and to me is just boring and doesn’t compare to Twilight, Incipit, Sign of Hell, etc. I honestly don’t see how those two dumbasses can take over what is the brainchild ov such a musical talent as Infernus.

Christian Black Metal in all it’s HOLY glory

I’ve always been one to say listen to music for what it is, but come on.  Who in their right mind would create christian black metal.  It makes no sense.  This is ov the same nature as someone playing Satanic Christian metal.  It just isn’t…well…you get the idea.  Everything about black metal is supposed to be demonic, especially the vocals, which aren’t even supposed to sound human and are intended to rebuke all standards ov music set by christianity itself.  That’s like a band with national socialistic ideals (nazi/hitler metal) making songs not about racial purity and superiority, but about harmony and being satisfied with ethnic matters at hand.  It is just plain stupid.  I’ve never heard any samples from bands ov this stupid genre so I can’t say they have no talent, as some ov them in fact may be decent.  But regardless ov their sound, they should never refer to themselves as “black” anything, and should furthermore be beaten senseless.
